100+ People Attend Member Briefings this Fall

We’ve been on the road for six weeks crisscrossing the state from Buffalo to Riverhead.  The tenth and final Member Briefing was held in Albany this week, capping a wide-ranging collective discussion that put educational impact, sustainability, relations to regulators and funders, and collaborations (among many topics) on the table.  Often there were more questions than answers, but one characteristic that shone through time and again is the passion this field has for its work and a resiliency to keep moving forward.

MANY members have had a peek at some of the outcomes from early discussions in the October e-Connections.  There’s more of that to come.

If you’ve got something to say about the challenges our field faces, feel free to email us at info@manyonline.org or leave a comment here.

(Those are some of the folks who came to the Suffolk County Historical Society Briefing last month.  Historical Society Director Wally Broege and Assemblymember Steve Englebright are second and third from left.)
