Dr. Hanson, a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Smithsonian's Institution's Museum of American History, established the living history, education, and collections management programs at Meadow Farm Museum/Henrico County, VA, served as Director of Operations and Acting Executive Director/Museum of American Frontier Culture/Staunton, VA, Assistant Director/George Ranch Historial Park/Richmond, TX, and Director/French Legation Museum, Austin, TX. She was President/Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums [ALHFAM] and Chair of two Annual Meetings.
