Statement of Work:
I am an art conservator, specializing in works of art and historic documents on paper. Materials treated in my studio include historic documents (paper and parchment), prints (etchings, engravings, lithographs, woodblocks, etc.) and other fine art (drawings with charcoal, pastel, watercolor, etc.). I have additional expertise in treating photographs, including 19th century convex photographs. My early training was in textile conservation and I also treat small textiles such as 19th century samplers. In addition to conservation treatments, I also provide a conservation consultancy service for museums and private clients. This includes environmental and collection surveys. My training includes a masters degree in Art Conservation and experience at museums and regional art conservation centers.
