Statement of Work: 
Zephyr Preservation Studio offers a full range of textile conservation services for all types of textiles, including flags, banners, quilts, embroideries, samplers, costumes, shoes, carpets and tapestries. Treatments include stabilization, cleaning and documentation. All work is conducted according to the American Institute for Conservation Code of Ethics (www.conservation-us.org). Additional services include collections preservation surveys, environmental monitoring, pest management, disaster preparedness, archival mounting and framing and educational lectures for the care and handling of textiles. Sarah C. Stevens, principal of Zephyr Preservation Studio, has been a textile conservator for over ten years. She has experience with all types of textiles and fibers, especially flags and banners. Sarah is a Fellow of the American Institute of Conservation and serves on the board of the North American Textile Conservation Conference (www.natcconference.com). Sarah has presented her conservation work through publications and speaking engagements.
