6:00-7:30 PM Meet-Up and Reception

Before heading into Syracuse, West Lake Conservators will open their doors to Meet Up registrants interested in learning about conservation practice. Headquartered in Skaneateles for 42 years, their mixed speciality practice serves both public and private collections specializing in the preservation and restoration of paintings, frames, textiles, paper and photographic materials. West Lake Conservation staff will be available between 11 and 1 for Meet Up attendees interested in a private tour of their lab.

Humanities New York will lead a special training workshop during which participants will develop their skills in making discussions more productive and engaging and will learn strategies to involve museum program attendees in thoughtful conversations. After the workshop, museum staff will lead us on a private tour featuring their new exhibit, "High Hopes: Immigration and the Erie Canal" followed by our Meet-Up when we will gather together for a discussion about important issues and share information about upcoming MANY professional development opportunities. Please join us for light refreshments, a tasting of local craft beers hosted by Middle Ages Brewing Company and time to network with Central Region colleagues.

Thank you to our Sponsors!
