Kajsa Harley is the Executive Director at Hanford Mills Museum in East Meredith, NY, a historic site with a working water- and steam-powered sawmill, gristmill, and woodworking factory. She first worked at Hanford Mills as the Education and Curatorial Initiatives Manager, where much of her work focused on growing and sustaining interpretation, education outreach programming and collections management efforts. Prior to joining Hanford Mills in 2013, she worked as the Interpretive Projects Coordinator and then Public Programs Manager at The Farmers’ Museum and New York State Historical Association in Cooperstown, NY. She has also served as an adjunct lecturer in Museum Studies at Hartwick College in Oneonta. Ms. Harley earned her B.A. in Anthropology from Luther College (Decorah, IA) and her M.A. in History Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program (SUNY Oneonta).
